**About the Role**
The Receptionist provides a variety of reception, secretarial and general clerical assistance, prepares correspondence, reports and other documents, often involving material of a confidential nature, for management and front line staff. Maintains the agency's filing system.
**Position**: Full Time 35 hours/week. M-F 9am-4:30pm
**Compensation**: $21.23-$24.72 per hour
**Indirect Compensation**
- Extended Health and Dental benefits after the 3 month probationary period
- 9.31% Pension matching after the 3 month probationary period
- 3 weeks vacation pay which increases with length of service
- 1 paid wellness day per year
- Paid sick time which increases with length of service.

**Qualifications**
- Education and experience_
- Completion of Grade 12 and education/training in office procedures and services to the public
- Education/training in Office Administration
- 2 years of general office experience
- Job skills and abilities_
- Highly skilled in greeting guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Well versed in managing a multiple line phone system and handling multiple incoming calls simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to answer queries of visitors and direct them to the right person.
- Committed to provide exceptional customer service to participants and coworkers.
- Excellent knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Adept at giving accurate and detailed information to visitors and callers.
- Able to handle difficult people tactfully.
- Proven record of performing clerical duties such as scanning, photocopying and collating.
- Capable of keeping reception & common office areas (kitchen, coffee station, etc.) clean and organized.
- Exceptionally organized and able to multi-task.
- Other requirements_
- Ability to provide proof of COVID 19 Vaccination or letter of exemption
- Ability to provide Criminal Record Check in accordance with agency policy
