**General Labourer**

Atlas Dewatering Corporation, established in 1946, has well over sixty years’ experience in the construction industry and is a leader in construction dewatering and environmental groundwater/surface water management. Atlas also specializes in bypass pumping systems, providing pump rentals, sales and service. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and service with knowledgeable and dedicated staff in both dewatering and bypass projects.

**Summary of Function**:
Atlas Dewatering Corporation is seeking a General Yard Labourer to assist in cleaning and preparing the service yard/shop, delivering materials and using variety of tools and machines, such as forklifts, power drills, pressure washers and water spraying equipment. The General Yard Labourer will also be responsible for assisting in equipment inventory coordinate yard operations, equipment maintenance as instructed by the Branch Manager and/or the Service Manager and communicate inventory status with office administration.”

**Responsibilities**:

- Keep work areas in the shop/yard organised and clean
- Prepare equipment and materials to be shipped to a project
- Loading and offloading of equipment and materials
- Preform delivery and return of equipment and materials
- Inspect, maintain and restock equipment returned from a project/client
- Prepare, compile, and submit forms on tracking of material/equipment, inventory control, and order quality control (Pick lists, Shipping, Receiving and Return/Exchange Documents).
- Ensure that all required paperwork is filled out correctly and brought back to the office daily
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- High School diploma or GED required; graduate of a technical/vocational training program is preferred.
- Must have and maintain own tools, both metric and standard.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multi task environment.
- Proven ability to operate under pressure.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must be willing to be on call 24/7.
- Valid Class G Drivers Licence in good standing
- Ability to lift varying loads, up to 70lbs
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
