Claire Place Veterinary Hospice is widely recognized as a leader in providing in-home, end-of-life care for pets. Our team members possess a natural affinity for animal care as well as a genuine concern for the emotional well-being of our clients, which enables us to deliver compassionate end-of-life care.
We are seeking a CSR with exceptional customer service skills to join us In this role, you will work alongside a dynamic and diverse group of individuals, providing empathetic and supportive care to families seeking our end-of-life services for their beloved pets.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging in positive interactions with pet families and guiding emotional end of life conversations in a calm and peaceful manner.
- Accurately document important medical information for each pet, provide guidance to pet parents surrounding quality of life decision making and scheduling appointments.
- Reach out to veterinary hospitals in the area to educate them about our services and how we can help their patients.
- Maintaining and cleaning the office space (inside and outside) and restocking medical/office supplies.
- Running errands as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned to the employee to ensure the highest standard of customer service.
**Requirements**:
- Experience working independently and in a team setting in a high paced, customer service environment.
- Comfortable working respectfully with and around remains of deceased patients.
- Comfortable building relationships with clients, staff and local animal hospitals.
- Ability to quickly learn software to support your role such as DaySmart/Vetter and [Gmail] among others.
- High attention to detail and excellent communication/written skills.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, must have the manual dexterity to work on a computer and phone.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
**Schedule**:
- Office hours are M-F 8am - 6pm, Saturday and Sunday (9am - 3pm)
- Schedule includes rotational evenings, weekends and holidays (if needed)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
