**Job Summary**

My Medical Centers is seeking a **compassionate and dedicated Family Physician** to join our growing medical team in **Ottawa**. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a **modern, fully equipped clinic**, supported by a team of experienced **Medical Office Assistants (MOAs), nurses, and allied healthcare professionals**.

We provide a **collaborative and patient-centered environment**, allowing you to focus on high-quality care while our team handles administrative tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide **comprehensive primary care** to patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care.
- Diagnose and manage **common illnesses, injuries, and long-term conditions**.
- Develop and implement **treatment plans** tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Perform minor **in-office procedures** as required.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic tools.
- Maintain accurate **Electronic Medical Records (EMR)** (e.g., OSCAR Pro, TELUS CHR, Accuro, or Juno).
- Collaborate with **specialists, allied healthcare providers, and pharmacists** for patient referrals and coordinated care.
- Educate patients on **preventive healthcare, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options**.
- Follow all **Ontario health regulations and PHIPA guidelines** to ensure patient privacy and compliance.

**Qualifications & Requirements**

**Education & Certification**:

- MD degree from a recognized institution.
- **Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)**.
- **Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP)** (preferred).
- Eligible to bill **OHIP** for services rendered.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in **primary care, walk-in, or family practice** (preferred but not required).
- Strong **diagnostic and clinical decision-making** skills.
- Excellent **communication and interpersonal** abilities.
- Ability to work in a **collaborative, team-based environment**.
- Proficiency in **Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems**.
