Live Events Production Assistant

Ajax, Canada Spot On Entertainment Full time

**Position Type**: Seasonal Full-time Contract (June - Mid November)

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain props, load and unload trucks, and perform other warehouse tasks at our Ajax, ON office during non-production days.
- Drive rented vehicles (drivers abstract required) and rental trucks ranging from 10' to 26' in length.
- Set up basic sound systems, including wireless microphones, powered speakers, iPods, and mixers.
- Utilize background in live events/production to contribute to the seamless execution of our shows.
- Be prepared for potential international travel, requiring a valid passport.
- Stand for extended periods, lift heavy props and items repetitively, and work in various weather conditions.
- Comfortably work around dogs and loud noises.
- Be willing to work extended hours during production periods and adapt to changing work environments and situations.
- Exhibit good customer service skills when interacting with the public after shows.
- Work confidently in front of large crowds.

**Requirements**:

- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, self-motivation, and high organizational skills.
- Prior experience in production is an asset.
- Possess a valid G driver's license as per Ontario regulations and have reliable transportation to and from the warehouse and local shows around the GTA.
- Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of the position.
- Available for in-person/virtual interviews.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Fly-In/Fly-Out
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 60 per week
