**Overview**:
The HR Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources department by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This position involves maintaining employee records, assisting in recruitment efforts, coordinating training programs, and providing general HR support to both employees and management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Update HR databases and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist in posting job vacancies on various platforms and company career websites.
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and new hire paperwork.
- Conduct employee orientations and support the onboarding process for new hires.
- Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Collaborate with benefits providers and ensure accurate enrollment and coverage for employees.
- Coordinate training programs, workshops, and seminars for employees' professional growth.
- Track training completion and maintain records of employee development activities.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving minor employee relations issues, escalating complex matters to HR management.
- Prepare regular HR reports, including attendance records, turnover rates, and recruitment metrics.
- Assist in analyzing data trends to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations.
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure HR practices are compliant.
- Assist in the preparation of documents required for audits and legal compliance.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON M8V 3L1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 2 years (required)
