BD Diesel is looking for a **Technical Service Representative **who is accountable for providing world class sales support to BD customers necessary to continuously improve the creation and delivery of value to our customers. As a valuable member of the BD Diesel team, this position helps customers problem solve, select the right parts and provide insight on installation challenges. This role helps our customers and their vehicles reach their full potential by providing detailed knowledge combined with excellent customer service.

This position reports to the Sales Manager with the daily activities coordinated by the Sales Supervisor and works 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday.

**As a Technical Service Representative, your role includes**:

- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Assist customers with automotive related sales questions related to products, installations and service support
- Function as the Technical Expert for both customers and sales team member
- Creation of SOP’s and process documentation to drive positive change for the customer while ensuring consistency in our customer service approach
- Working with both the Sales Team and Engineering Team, relay customer feedback and identify trends allowing for product improvement/modification as required
- Creation of knowledge based articles and technical bulletins to help keep both customers and sales team members up to speed on both current items and new product releases
- Provide customers with in-depth information regarding equipment & parts for sale
- Champion the customer as an advocate throughout the RMA process
- Support the sales team where required in the areas of technical knowledge and customer support

**Who You Are**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated vehicle maintenance experience, Red Seal Automotive Mechanic Certification or equivalent preferred
- 5 years vehicle maintenance experience required
- 2 years customer facing service experience preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered_
