**Become a Summer Student - Office of the Quality Service Commissioner - Data Analytics Support** **with MPAC**

You are a detail-oriented individual who can provide support to the Office of the Quality Service Commissioner with project initiatives, data collection, analytics and reporting.

**You have**:

- Enrollment in secondary or post-secondary education, with a preference for post-secondary education and returning to studies in the next academic term
- Familiarity with programming languages such as R and Python
- An analytical, problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good organization and reporting skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment while ensuring attention to detail
- Must meet Ontario's minimum working age for the job duties required

**Nice to have**:

- Familiarity with Power Bi

**What you will do**:

- Assist with data collection, analysis and reporting as assigned by management
- Consolidate and analyze information gathered from a variety of sources to build into databases and to create a variety of summaries and reports according to required specifications
- Assist with the administration of projects and initiatives that support branch activities and deliverables
- Conduct research initiatives and present findings, including the identification of trends and variances
- Other duties as assigned

**Summer Student Wage Rates**:

- Summer Students currently enrolled in secondary school or students working solely on administrative activity: $17.20 per hour
- Summer Students enrolled in post-secondary, first-time hire: $17.95 per hour
- Summer Students enrolled in post-secondary, returning employment: $18.95 per hour

**Duration of Employment: May through to the end of August**
