**The team**:
Join an international, passionate IT team providing support to Genetec employees. Our team of skilled IT Support Specialists resolves issues for our global end-users and is the first point of contact for all IT related issues.

As Team Lead, IT Support you will help to shape a world-class team, drive continuous improvement, and coach team members to ensure that they have the support, resources, and tools to be successful. In this role you will encourage quality relationships within the team, and end-users alike.

**What your day will look like**:

- Provide continuous support and leadership to the IT Support team
- Communicate and relay changes, developments and important updates that pertain to the overall team
- Resolve complex requests and escalate within the IT infrastructure departments where applicable
- Prioritize incidents and monitor customer requests as they come in
- Manage and update our IT knowledge base and Confluence wikis to benefit our users and team
- Provide feedback on equipment in our environment and test new models
- Promote continual improvement of the overall support service, helping to identify potential improvements and providing recommendations where necessary
- Lead and contribute to ongoing activities and projects within IT Support department
- Work with other departments such as security, networking, and system admins to assist in implementation of new procedures and protocols
- Play a role in hiring, performance management, discipline, and skills development

**About you**:

- Diploma in Computer Systems, Systems Administration, or related technical discipline
- Working proficiency in English and French, verbal and written
- 5+ years experience in IT Support role
- An understanding of what it takes to develop highly engaged teams while driving high performance
- Working knowledge of Active Directory
- Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize, multitask and have a sense of urgency
- Ability to collaborate interdepartmentally and quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment

**Great if you have**:

- Knowledge of SCCM/Intune & Jira
- Knowledge of PowerShell
