- As the Team Lead for the Interceptor and Transcription Teams, you will manage a team of employees working closely with investigators ongoing cases. Your role involves overseeing alerts, requests, and directives, ensuring efficient communication between the Interceptor team and investigators. Primary duties include:

- Organize and prioritize work schedules, train new staff, oversee accuracy and address errors.
- Inform the unit on new or revised police procedures, manage performance and ensure quality control and disclosure of investigations.
- Collaborate with telephone providers to manage communication interceptions, and handle urgent situations such as subscriber requests, production orders, and search warrants.
- Analyze systemic operations and identify potential issues with the intercept system.
- Research and integrate new technologies and software programs.
- Maintain network security and conduct routine audits of the systems to ensure the integrity of the data, monitor efficiencies and performance of the system.
- Conduct monthly reporting in relation to interceptors and transcriptionists and facilitate new training while updating and clarifying new standard operating procedures (SOP's) or Policies and Procedures.
- Develop training lessons for staff and provide training for new interceptors or transcribers.
- Gather and document details of targets to create character profiles that will assist investigators, undercover infiltrators, and interviewers with investigative strategies.

**Working Conditions**: Regular exposure to disturbing information arising from criminal investigations.

**Qualifications**
- A certificate or diploma (equivalent to 1-year full-time study) in a related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a policing or security environment is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Competencies for this position include analytical thinking, change management, coaching and development, communication, managing resources, relationship building, team building and teamwork.

**Pre-employment Requirements**
- An enhanced security clearance and pre-employment polygraph will be conducted.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.
