Your Opportunity:
This is a one-year temporary position (till March 2026) to join the Alberta Cervical Cancer Screening Program. As a member of the Alberta Cervical Cancer Screening Program (ACCSP), the Program Coordinator provides support and collaboratively plans, implements and evaluates assigned projects and operational activities related to cervical cancer screening. Working within an evidence-based, population health framework, the Program Coordinator assists in major provincial initiatives. The role is consultative and collaborative in nature and works with program partners and stakeholders across the screening pathway. This position works with a high degree of independence and requires demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and problem-solving skill sets. As a member of the provincial team, the Program Coordinator utilizes research and evaluation skills, project management skills, quality improvement approaches, and health promotion strategies aimed at improving cervical cancer screening in Alberta. Some activities includes but not limited to: Developing project charters, preparing detailed project plans, and ensuring the overall objectives, targets/KPIs and timelines are met. Stakeholder engagement and effective communications. Facilitating the work of team members, Monitoring performance against the ACCSP’s strategic and business plans. Risk management and initiating appropriate action to keep projects on tract. Project implementation, research (literature/scoping reviews, environmental scans). Project evaluations, data analysis and communicating results. Additionally, the program coordinator will support with planning activities for the elimination of cervical cancer priorities in Alberta.

**Required Qualifications**:
Baccalaureate degree in a health-related field. Master's degree in health promotion, public health, or a related field.
