We are currently looking to hire Junior Bookkeepers:

- Position # 1 is based in Downtown Montreal.
- Position #2 is located in the West Island area.

**Skills**:

- QBO & Sage 50 Proficiency: Deep understanding of QBO & Sage 50 software including features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Accounting Knowledge: Solid grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
- Data Entry: Accuracy and efficiency in entering financial data into accounting software.
- Bank Reconciliation: Ability to reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Skill in generating and interpreting financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Expense Tracking: Expertise in tracking and categorizing expenses and managing accounts payable/receivable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Financial Record Management: Maintain and update financial records in QBO, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- On occasion will need to be flexible in going onsite to clients’ offices. (Access to a personal vehicle is preferred)
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring adherence to budget and financial policies.
- Software Management: Utilize QBO to its full potential, including troubleshooting issues and optimizing system functionality.
- Tracking time spent on each client using QBO

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Education: Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
