This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to make a difference in a dynamic environment.

Position Details:

- Hours: 24 hours per week (Full-Time Availability Required)
- Starting Pay: $17.40 per hour plus tips
- Location: Garaku Restaurant, Richmond (Aberdeen Centre)
- Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer-facing roles is required.
- Advanced English Proficiency: Strong communication in English are essential.
- Educational Background:

- Preferably university-graduated in their home country.
- Junior College Co-Op students are welcome to apply.
- Language Skills: Knowledge of Japanese or Chinese is an asset.
- Passion for Cooking: A love for food and a willingness to learn about our menu and kitchen operations.
- Motivated and Team-Oriented: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations: Oversee the restaurant's day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service.
2. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage orders, and maintain organization.
3. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the restaurant adheres to safety and cleanliness standards.
4. Problem-Solving: Quickly address issues as they arise to maintain guest satisfaction and operational flow.
5. Customer Service: Handle guest complaints professionally and maintain high-quality service standards.
6. Feedback Collection: Obtain and analyze guest feedback to improve services.
7. Cash Handling: Manage cash registers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.40-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
