**Some of what you’ll do**:

- Process the biweekly payroll for Canadian and US employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage monthly payroll for Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK via ADP Celergo
- Review and validate timecards and ensure all time-off is approved prior to payroll
- Issue Records of Employment (ROEs) and employment verification letters
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
- Maintain and update employee data in ADP Workforce Now
- Maintain up-to-date employee files and track work permit expiries
- Lead all year-end payroll balancing and reconciliation activities, including prepare and file T4s, R1s and, W-2 forms
- Participate in payroll audits and year-end processes
- Ensure compliance with local payroll laws, benefit requirements, and company policies
- Keep up to date with legislation changes across all operating jurisdictions
- Set up and maintain payroll system configurations in ADP, i.e. new departments, time and attendance policies, holiday schedules, taxable benefits, earnings and deductions, etc.
- Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with ADP as needed
- Prepare and remit workers’ compensation payments and perform reconciliations across all Canadian provinces and the US
- Lead or support special payroll and HRIS projects as needed
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and enforcement of internal policies
- Track eligible training expenditures for Quebec’s Bill 90 (1% training compliance)
- Track and manage employee sick leaves and leaves of absence
- Generate and manage ad-hoc reports as needed
- Assist with HR-related events and initiatives

**Some of what you’ll need**:

- 3 years of full-cycle payroll experience
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian and US payroll legislation and tax requirements
- Experience with year-end reporting and government filings (T4, R1, W-2, etc.)
- Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is a strong asset
- Payroll PCP designation is an asset

Experience with international payroll and working across different regions an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Customer service-oriented and able to build strong cross-functional relationships
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual
