Brightside Learning provides Executive Function Coaching to students from grades one through Cegep who are affected by ADHD and executive functioning difficulties. We teach students how to learn by providing them with tools & opportunities to help them succeed academically and personally, and ultimately reach their full potential. We are currently looking for an experienced part-time Operations Manager, who is excited by the idea of being part of a small, growing business that positively impacts the lives of students and families.
**Position Overview**
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the business, while wearing multiple hats within the company. This role is focused around building new systems, increasing efficiencies of the business, and fostering the potential of the team. Other duties include managing the schedule, overseeing the team, offering support to parents, overseeing customer accounts, building new systems for coach and client onboarding and developing team training.Operations Management
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of the business while maintaining the company mission and values
- Assess, develop and implement scalable processes and procedures to drive operational effectiveness by creating long-term plans and initiatives to accomplish company goals
- Design and implement a strategic process that includes identifying roles within the company, growing our team, and building the infrastructure to support our growth
- Develop and implement action plans for strong hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, employee engagement and customer service practices
- Effectively lead and develop our team, including coaching, team morale, and performance management
- Manage hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members
- Identify problems and come up with effective and efficient solutions; create presentations and communicate with various stakeholders about solutions and strategies
- Analyze, plan and monitor budgets
- Client & Administration Management
- Assist inquiring parents and students in discovering and learning about Brightside Learning
- Ensure and manage day-to-day interactions and coordination with clients and team
- Manage team and student scheduling
- Manage student registration and new student onboarding
- Process and monitor client billing and receipts
- Administer payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payableMarketing Management
- Develop, implement and manage marketing and social media strategies
- Develop relationships with student coop programs to support the implementation of marketing and social media plans
- Develop and expand outreach and networking opportunities
- Document the process and create a critical pathQualifications & Knowledge
- Bachelor degree in Business or Administration
- Excellent ability to assess and support personalized and above par customer experiences
- 2-5 years experience managing a team
- Excellent ability for managing and executing various tasks and projects simultaneously
- Experience in office administration and management
- Self-starter, committed, and resourceful individual who cares about their work and doing their best
- Natural ability for organization and time management
- Critical thinker with a proven record of taking initiative and working independently
- Detail-oriented and quick learner who does things right the first time
- A proven ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically with diverse populations
- Bilingual with excellent English oral and written skills
- Excellent ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technology
**Salary**: $60,000 per year, prorated to 20 hours per week. Possibility to become full-time.
