What are your responsibilities as an Automotive Front Counter Sales Representative? Maintain friendly and frequent contact with all customers coming to counter for sales and assist with problem solving and maintaining open communication, Order any out of stock, special order items, create purchase orders, transfers, and follow up with customers by phone calls to completion of invoice, Maintain orderly files and clean records of all transactions, as well as accurate cash drawer, Observe changes in inventory as to ensure minimum stock levels and store showroom appearance is appropriate, Work with warehouse personnel to ensure tickets are printed and parts are pulled in a timely fashion to ensure customers’ parts are ready in a timely fashion, and Assume other duties as assigned. What is the profile we are looking for? High school diploma, or higher, Automotive Knowledge is a strong asset, Must have a customer-oriented mentality, Must have good communication skills (Written and Oral), Must have the ability to deal tactfully with customers, and If you’re looking to be part of a family Job Requirements **Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**: Prior automotive experience is preferred. Strong customer service background. Strong people skills. The ability to upsell and get customers to try new products. Problem solving ability. **Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment**: Frequent sitting and standing. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. May be required to move/lift up to 75 pounds.
