Fire Technician

**Black Tusk Fire & Security Inc.** is one of BC’s most trusted fire safety and security providers, servicing the Sea to Sky region and Lower Mainland.

We are looking for a full-time Fire Protection Technician to join our ever-expanding team based in the Lower Mainland.

**Duties**:

- Perform maintenance, inspections and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting systems, as well as miscellaneous service work, as required.
- Complete work orders and report in a timely fashion
- Be a part of our paid, on-call rotation for emergency service work

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 - 3 year experience in the field; including prior experience with fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, sprinkler systems, backflows or special suppression
- Knowledge of ULC, CSA and Canadian electrical codes and standards
- Willing to work towards ASTTBC and BCWWA certifications
- Self-starter who can take initiative
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English
- Valid driver’s license

LPIND
