Our company is growing and we are looking for an experienced **Fire Protection Service Manager**

to join our team at the head office in Burnaby In this role, you will be responsible to develop, coach, direct, and lead the Fire Technicians Team to achieve greater profitability, growth, safety and customer satisfaction.

The position will require an ability to work effectively with other departments such as sales,

customer service, accounting, warehouse and management to achieve overall company objectives.

- Minimum 5 or more years of industry experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- ASTTBC Certified Technician with Stamps in FA/EM/EX/WA with SP as an asset
- Knowledge of fire codes, building codes and fire protection standards
- Strong skills with MS Office
- Proven ability to assess and troubleshoot various Life Safety systems and provide solution-based details, maintaining profitability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid BC Drivers License
- Proven history of leading individuals and teams to success while maintaining profitability
- Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, positive friendly attitude

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure maximum efficiency in scheduling, managing, and work performed by all service technicians
- Train and develop the service team through coaching, mentoring and quality checking work on-site as well as reviewing reports
- Monitor departmental performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made and that corrective action is taken if necessary
- Supervises the field technicians: motivating, training, recognizing and managing their performance, resolving human resources issues
- Work with our Scheduling Coordinators, and Service Sales Team to execute quoted jobs safely and efficiently, to maintain margins and time allotment
- Work with Accounting Department in making sure jobs are billed and closed out properly
- Support scheduling and admin by interacting directly with customers to resolve issues
- Work with our customers to ensure their requirements and expectations are being met and improved
- Maintain positive relationships with key customers and prospects
- Oversee all health & Safety and ensure that all training requirements for techs have been met
- Mentor and coach Junior Fire Prevention Technicians
- Manage the fleet of service vehicles, tools and technician training with an eye on the budget
- Assist with future talent acquisition
- Communicate with both internal and external contacts to help solve disputes on inspections and repairs
- Ensure all direct staff receives appropriate training on job duties, corporate policies and applicable procedures
- Maintain certification in good standing with ASTTBC

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
