**Responsibilities**:

- Understanding, adhering to and executing operational policies + procedures, standards and training programs
- Ensuring a unique and genuine guest experience by empowering staff to resolve issues, while acting as a supportive and active leader who will manage situations as they evolve
- Maintaining a strong focus on achieving and/or exceeding revenue targets, within acceptable labor and food cost and service standard parameters
- Monitoring and managing service, quality, health + safety and cleanliness
- Assist in training managers and monitor performance
- Provide input to strategic decisions to improve the day-to-day operations for store in the area
- Oversee the daily operations for all the stores in the region
- Lead by example and demonstrate passion for guest experience by supporting floor operations at each venue during times of high volume
- Champion the Kettlemans Big 4 and the brand visions and values and ensures alignment amongst the team in providing our guests with positive shareable experiences
- Develops, fosters and leads positive relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, key stakeholders and employees
- Ensures service is consistently at its very best, staff are assigned to appropriate work specific functions and are held accountable to the expectations
- Oversees and ensures guest satisfaction and operational excellence, handling any concerns in a timely manner
- Conducts regular huddles with Floor Leaders to mentor, support and evaluate performance
- Works with the Culinary team to ensure product consistency
- Works with the team at the store to ensure maintenance and repairs of equipment and services i.e. general upkeep
- Assists / Coach /Rectify the General Managers with daily fundamentals including scheduling, payroll, tip distribution, and operational standards
- Conducts performance management and coaching conversations with the support of People and Culture/Human Resources
- Assist with recruitment, staff planning and conduct training across venues
- Responsible for Health & Safety of all staff and guests and acts as the key contact for Inspections, WSIB procedures, and related audits
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to review P&L performance and current operational needs.
- Lead projects and/or tasks as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Awareness of and interest in current culinary trends in the marketplace
- Operations management experience in a high-volume establishment with significant experience with building great teams
- Experienced trainer and mentor to large staff teams
- Demonstrated patience, tact and diplomacy while leading a diverse team of industry professionals
- Ability to multi-task, remain cool and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication experience, both verbal & written
- Ability to manage up, down and across in a multi-unit organization
- Excellent organizational skills, with timely delivery of all required administrative work
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends and holidays
- Food Handler Certificate or HACCP Training
