**Role Overview**:

The User Research Specialist is responsible for providing actionable insights through market trends, competitor analysis, user research, and content performance data. This role also acts as a strategic support function to bridge communication between the internal team and contributors, helping ensure content direction aligns with real user needs and contributor behavior.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor content trends and user scenarios across creative platforms to identify emerging styles, formats, and usage gaps
- Conduct competitor analysis (e.g., CapCut, Canva, TikTok) to benchmark resource types, UI/UX behavior, and creator models
- Plan and execute user research initiatives, such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and behavior tracking
- Analyze content performance data from the community (e.g., export frequency, usage rate, content category trends)
- Collaborate with the team to synthesize findings into actionable reports and planning recommendations
- Support communication with contributors by collecting their feedback, usage pain points, and style preferences
- Build and maintain a structured insights & trend library to support continuous planning and data-informed decision-making

**Qualifications & Skill Requirements:**
- Strong qualitative & quantitative research skills (interviews, surveys, data interpretation)
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools (Looker, DataStudio, Tableau, etc.)
- Ability to interpret community content metrics (e.g., submission rate, engagement rate, template usage)
- Experience working with creators or user-facing communities is a plus
- Excellent communication in English; Chinese reading or communication ability is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $53,000.00-$72,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
