QM is looking for the next rockstar to join the Business Development and Marketing team. This dynamic position will help re-shape QM’s strategic marketing initiatives and make a mark on the environmental industry. Are you a proven or emerging digital content specialist that wants to work in a fast-paced industry across the country where your ideas and skills will be front and centre - QM Env has that opportunity.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Key responsibilities include the following:

- Assists with any social-media, marketing or communications-related items, campaigns, or events, both internal and external (including Tradeshow co-ordination)
- Assists with the lead tracking process to support the Business Development team.
- Engaging with prospects and clients both in person and desktop - marketing the QM advantage
- Suggests new ways of promoting QM’s businesses and reaching potential clients.
- Maintains and updates the events and social media calendar.
- Identifies and studies competitors and their performance in the market.
- Coordinate, update and track trade association memberships and conference attendance
- Review communications to ensure QM brand integrity is maintained, including color, logos, font, formatting.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KEY COMPETENCIES**

- 1-3 years minimum of experience (or combination of) marketing, communications and/or digital creative design
- Relevant University or College degree
- Must be social-media and technically savvy; good understanding of social media sites and tools such as Google, SEO/SEM, LinkedIn, Facebook
- Must have excellent writing and editing skills
- Experience creating strong, engaging content
- Enthusiasm for writing and learning in topics related to the environment, Environmental Social Governance (ESG), construction and government relations
- Online community development and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated excellence in writing, copywriting, proofreading, and editing
- Must be well-organized, with a natural tendency to be good at the details
- Personable; good interpersonal skills and a customer-service focus
- Must be reliable and task-oriented
- Self-motivated with a positive disposition
- Ability to work well independently and with others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with team members
- Extremely professional; acts in accordance with and represents QM in accordance with QM’s values
- Ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Applies sound judgement to all tasks
- Experience with engineering or construction firms is an asset

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

Work is primarily done in the office, occasional daily and overnight travel to events, sites will be required.
