**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

**PRODUCING VISUAL MATERIALS**
- Operate photo and video cameras and produce top-notch digital media content for the Northern Authority website and social media
- Video editing, creating visually appealing outtakes, intros, and creatively incorporating video and graphic imagery into the main video
- Full knowledge of Graphic designing
- Suggest changes to the content as well as quality problems
- Meet deadlines and make sure that quality requirements are satisfied.
- Storyboard ideas, especially those for video production, and convey them.
- Produce and deliver run of show and related production management materials

**DESIGNING AND PRINT MATERIALS**
- Design company logo, Newsletter, letterheads, brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and website elements with software such as Photoshop and in-Design.
- Create multiple different versions of a similar product and send them through approvals.
- Review finalized materials to be sure there are no errors.
- Work with internal technology software and hardware.
- Select fonts, colors, shapes, designs, styles, and layouts for projects.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends by attending workshops, courses, and reading relevant material.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**

**PREFFERED**: Bachelor’s degree in communications or any other relevant qualifications.

**MANDATORY**: A Degree or Diploma plus at least Five years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT**:

- Provide a satisfactory criminal records check, child abuse registry check and prior contact check prior to commencing employment.
- Valid Manitoba Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
- Travel to Northern Manitoba communities and around the Winnipeg area may be required.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Illustrator.
- Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Strong communication skills to convey ideas clearly within the team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new techniques.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.30 per week
