A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A EMERGENCY MITIGATION MANAGER
As the Emergency Mitigation Manager, you play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of emergency response and restoration projects, aligning with the goals and needs of insurance companies and our customers. Your expertise lies in overseeing emergency projects to uphold top-tier quality and service delivery standards. Collaborating closely with the Emergency Supervisor/Project Manager on-site, you confirm the emergency scope of work, considering mitigation possibilities. Communication is paramount as you relay the extent of damage and the scope of emergency work to insurance companies or independent adjusters when necessary. Your strategic approach involves deploying high-caliber teams and selecting sub-trades as needed for emergencies. Concurrently, you manage and supervise the emergency and contents crew, ensuring effective coordination on job sites. Your commitment to excellence is further exemplified through the implementation of the company's Standard Operating Procedures for water remediation, mold, and asbestos, reinforcing a comprehensive and efficient approach to emergency mitigation.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3 years' experience in construction or restoration is preferred
- Proven leadership skills and a deep commitment to operational excellence.
- Extensive operational management experience and a deep understanding of industry best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong grasp of emergency and reconstruction practices for property damage is highly valuable.
- Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
