**Dare Foods Limited**, a leading Canadian manufacturer and distributor of quality cookies, crackers, fine breads, confectionery products, and portable snacks are seeking a motivated and energetic individual for our Vancouver Production facility.

**Packaging Operator - **Day shift

Expected scheduled hours will be Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), with start times between 6:00AM and 7:00AM.

**Responsibilities**:

- Physically handle products, materials and supplies
- Removing containers filled with crackers from conveyors
- Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
- Feed and unload processing machines,
- Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers,
- Prepare and palletize boxes and move them to the warehouse area
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
- Follow the required company SOP's, GMP's, and Health and Safety Standards

**Requirements**:

- Ability to perform physically demanding repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for a long period of time and pull/push/move/lift throughout the day
- Working knowledge of English, including reading and writing for labelling purposes
- Reliable attendance record
- Flexibility to work on other duties as required and work overtime
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment, preference to those who have worked in food manufacturing/handling
- Food Safety certificate
- This role will involve exposure to dairy, nuts and gluten

**Salary**: $17.59-$17.89 per hour
