Here at Patterson Kaye Resort we offer fully equipped cottage rentals that range from 1 to 12 person occupancy (studios to 5 bedroom cottages). We're located on Golden Beach Road just 10 minutes from downtown Bracebridge and are right on Lake Muskoka.

Please note at this time we are unable to offer staff accommodation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a wide variety of cleaning duties; thoroughly cleaning cottages with great attention to detail, in-taking laundry, keeping housekeeping organized, cleaning the main lodge reception, and occasionally our restaurant dining room and lodge washrooms.
- Ensure all cottages are cared for and adhere to our company standards.
- Utilize specific cleaning supplies where necessary (no bleach on wood surfaces or no mixing of chemicals for example)
- Have a friendly, helpful, and caring disposition towards our guests.
- Notify superiors/maintenance of any damages, deficits, and disturbances immediately.
- Deal with reasonable complaints and/or requests with professionalism and patience.
- Check stocking levels of all supplies and replace when appropriate, notify management to order more.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware and comply with any company-related practices.

**Requirements**:

- Experience is an asset but not required
- we fully train all staff to meet our standards.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision and maintain a high level of performance and attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented and friendly.
- Excellent organization, time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Work quickly without compromising quality.
- WHMIS is an asset but we will go over in training.

**Working Conditions**:

- We are flexible with working around other schedules but please ensure you provide a schedule at least one week in advance.
- We enjoy having a positive work environment
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
