Front Desk - Customer Service Person

**Responsibilities**:
ü Check-in and check-out resort guests and in a timely, friendly, courteous manner to ensure a seamless arrival/departure experience.

ü Complete duties of Front desk Operations including but not limited to taking/making guest reservations.

ü Promote and communicate resort and surrounding area information and activities.

ü Assist in resolving and answering guest inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.

ü Work and communicate in a positive and cooperative manner with all team members.

ü Knowledge of resort Health & Safety/Emergency procedures

ü Phone reservations for our in-house Restaurant; updating Restaurant Reservation List as needed for Front House and Kitchen Staff and seating Patrons when needed.

ü Reservations for our Pool Times & Boats. Due to Covid-19 we are under strict measures.

ü Communicating with Housekeeping; Grounds Staff and Wait Staff

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

ü Experience in Guest Services is preferred.

ü Basic Accounting skills.

ü Positive and dynamic personality.

ü Able to communicate effectively and professionally in English; verbal and written.

ü Self
- motivating, well organized with attention to detail.

ü Ability to work under pressure.

Work Requirements: Afternoon Shift 4pm-9pm Weekdays, Weekend Required - 9am-4pm or 10am-4pm or 4pm-9pm

**About Patterson Kaye Resort**:
Our resort is in the heart of cottage country, Muskoka, Ontario. We offer relaxed cottage rentals from 2-12 person occupancy, a wide variety of 24 units, studios to fully equipped cottages. Our restaurant on site is kept busy year round with a variety of events and celebrations from weddings to business meetings. As well as a variety of seasonal amenities and activities.We are looking to employ multiple full and part time positions year round and can cross train if you are interested in multiple departments. We are also willing to fully train persons interested in entering the hospitality industry who have an enthusiastic, hard working personality and work well in a team.
