**As the Head Chef, You Will**
- Demonstrate and communicate vision and culinary concepts to all team members
- Create and develop menus, including using products that are grown and sourced locally
- Ensuring team members provide a memorable guest experience through coaching and fostering a positive working culture by reinforcing the MHG Values
- Demonstrate and promote a kitchen culture that revolves around the enjoyment of cooking, food and working as a team
- Put forth an influential presence in the kitchen which fosters growth, learning and development
- Work with the management team to meet all projected goals when it comes to cost, waste and labour control
- Oversee ordering of inventory and daily prep work
- Responsible for completing weekly inventory
- Recipe and menu development and input into inventory system, Optimum Control
- Work on the line with team members, maintaining a high level of food quality
- Oversees kitchen operations and cleanliness

**Who You are**
- Experience cooking and leading in a full-service high-volume restaurant
- Previous experience working in kitchen leadership role
- Culinary Arts training or diploma will be considered an asset
- Ability to take and give direction, working calmly under pressure
- Enjoy learning new things, teaching team members, and helping grow and develop talent
- A desire for personal and professional development
