**What is the position?**

We are looking for an **Medical Office Assistant/Administrator** to join us at our new clinic in Coquitlam, BC. Experience With the JaneApp system preferred.

Reporting to the Administrative manager, this role is multi-faceted and performs duties and responsibilities related to greeting clients, scheduling/booking appointments, invoicing/billing (patient, 3rd party vendors), customer service, marketing and other supportive administrative duties as assigned.

This position is an integral part to the team and will work closely with practitioners and management to ensure the clinic is operating at peak efficiency.

**Duties include**:

- Greeting and checking in patients
- Booking/Modifying Appointments
- Schedule Management for staff and practitioners
- Answer incoming calls to include, new patient calls, scheduling patient appointments, requesting records and follow up
- Invoicing/Billing (Patients and Third Party companies)
- Communicating with insurance companies
- Accurate data entry and maintaining files & patient records
- Processing payments and collection of outstanding accounts (A.R.)
- Prepare treatment rooms for therapist and keeping the Clinic well maintained (general tidying, laundry, assisting therapist)

**What you bring?**
- Medical Office Assistant Certificate or 1-2 years of post-secondary training or administrative area
- Priority will be given to those with JaneApp experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of general administrative experience in a medical office or clinic
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Detail Oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, a self-starter and be able to prioritize required duties
- Adaptable to work independently with mínimal supervision and also productive in team setting

**Job Types**:Full-time, Part-time

**Wage**:$20.00 per hour

**Schedule**:

- Tuesday 1:30pm-7:30pm
- Every Second Saturday 9:30am-5:30pm

**Experience**:

- Administration: 2 year (required)
- Certification/Diploma in Administrative or other relevant area (preferred)
- Jane App: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
