**CREATIVE FLOORING SOLUTIONS INC. **is the parent company of Atlantic Canada's largest flooring group with multiple brand locations servicing all parts. We are pleased to be offering a growing career opportunity and to fill a position as **ESTIMATOR/ PROJECT COORDINATOR **in our rapidly growing Commercial Division. The position is based out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and is available immediately.

Duties include:

- Coordinate incoming & outgoing information, such as project specifications & quotations
- Read and Interrupt project plans and specification
- Identify accurate labour, material takeoffs & time requirements in order to compute costs using project specifications and blueprints in both manual and computerized methods
- Work in conjunction with other Estimator/Project Coordinators
- Organize data for a Project Management team to ensure timely & accurate bids, and the successful completion of ongoing projects
- Prepare special reports by collecting data, analyzing trends and summarizing information
- Assist sales team by providing technical aid
- Resolve discrepancies by analyzing information
- Maintain & update cost and product databases

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- College Diploma /University Degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent Industry experience
- Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail
- Math competency
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft programs (especially Excel)
- Multi-tasking skills, the ability to prioritize work, and the flexibility to meet urgent deadlines

Assets (but not requirements):

- Previous commercial flooring experience
- Computerized estimating experience
- Commercial Flooring Estimating experience
- Technical Commercial Flooring Knowledge
