Loss Prevention Specialist: Full Time

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a plain clothed/undercover positon in multiple locationsDetain and interview persons apprehended for shoplifting in accordance with local laws and company procedures. Complete investigative case packages and statements regarding all internal/external theft and fraud for local police agenciesConduct floor walks and support the stores by conducting tests and providing feedback regarding all aspects of home depot's safety, security and shrink standardsCheck physical security of The Home Depot facilities to prevent and deter theft/fraudulent activityRepresent the Home Depot in a professional manner throughout all court-related proceduresMaintain an open channel of communication with store management and all associatesPartner with store management to drive LP issuesEffectively utilize CCTV and Electronic Article Surveillance
(EAS) systemsConduct surveillance when required
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Must fulfil minimum time-in-position and performance management code requirements of MExcellent analytical skills as well as strong verbalValid Security and Drivers Licenses as required by the ProvinceMust have access to reliable transportation
