**Loss Prevention Services Limited** (LPS) is the premier provider of security personnel assisting a wide client base. LPS is seeking a **Full** **Time Experienced Undercover Loss Prevention Investigator **in **Ottawa, ON**. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Citizens Powers of Arrest, and Trespass to Property Act, have a security-orientated education and experience in the Retail Loss Prevention Industry

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to retail and warehouse environment
- Detect and apprehend shoplifters to deliver them to the police.
- Follow proper procedures and protocols
- Write extensive incident reports while utilizing knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Citizens Powers of Arrest
- Professionally represent Loss Prevention Services, including in all court-related procedures

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Qualified Loss prevention Experience is required
- High school Diploma (preference will be given to Police Foundations/Law & Security graduates)
- Full-Time Availability
- Cell phone with a data plan
- Ability to work on weekends
- Physically fit to walk for extended periods of time
- High degree of honesty & integrity
- A reliable vehicle is an asset

**Compensation**:

- $18.50 (and up) per hour dependent on experience
- Paid Training Time
