Hotel Grand Pacific is looking for another Steward to assist our close-knit Kitchen team as we prepare for a busy summer. An independent property located on Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour, we are a proud member of the Preferred Hotels and Resorts collection. Working in professional and supportive work environment, all members of the Stewarding team have an important role to play in making sure operations run smoothly and our guests receive excellent food & beverage service.

**Duties**:

- Clean dishes, pots, equipment and the kitchens to established standards
- Operate the dishwasher and check finished dishes for cleanliness
- Sweep and mop the floor regularly
- Keep all kitchen areas clean and organized
- Sort garbage and keep the garbage disposal area tidy
- Adhere to established safety procedures at all times

What we're looking for:

- Dishwashing experience in a restaurant environment
- Organized and efficient with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work well with others and follow instructions
- Clear communication skills
- Responsible and adaptable to changing demands
- Accountable with a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
