Do you enjoy being behind the scenes and performing physical, repetitive work? Hotel Grand Pacific is looking for a Steward to assist our Kitchen team with dishwashing and cleaning functions.

Hotel Grand Pacific's food and beverage outlets include the gorgeous Fathom Restaurant, cozy Courtyard Café, and 10,000 square feet of function space. All members of the Stewarding team have an important role to play in making sure our guests have an excellent dining experience.

PM Shifts 3:30 PM- Midnight, including weekends.

Duties:

· Clean dishes, pots, equipment and the kitchens to established standards

· Operate the dishwasher and check finished dishes for cleanliness

· Sweep and mop the floor regularly

· Accurately sort garbage and keep the garbage disposal area tidy

· Keep all kitchen areas clean and organized

· Adhere to established safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For:

· At least 3 years experience in similar jobs.

. Dishwashing or cleaning experience in a restaurant kitchen

· Ability to follow instructions and stay organized in a high-volume setting

· Proven ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail

· Great team player with positive and effective verbal communication skills

· Accountable with a high level of integrity and professionalism

· Comfortable working on your feet for long periods

· Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
