We’re looking for our Internal Marketing Writer to join our team and lead the development of high-quality, research-driven, and valuable long-form content for Graphite. As the Internal Marketing Writer, you will be responsible for creating thought leadership essays, white papers, case studies, and other types of content to establish Graphite as a leader in our industry. You will also work with the Graphite Content team to develop a comprehensive strategy for owned and earned SEO, build systems and processes to scale our premium content, and collaborate with the Marketing team to create more dynamic forms of content. This is a contract work and requires delivering from 10-20 articles per month. **This is a fully remote position.**

**What you’ll do**
- Write well-researched and high-value long-form content for Graphite including thought leadership essays, earned/owned SEO, case studies, and white papers.
- Proactively reach out and interview industry and Graphite experts to extract and develop insights.
- Partner with the Content team to develop strategy for owned/earned SEO
- Build systems and processes for scaling premium content
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop more dynamic forms of content (i.e. building courses)

**What you’ll need**
- 5+ years of writing experience, preferably working for blogs, news organizations, magazines, or other publications.
- Experience interviewing SMEs in the Marketing industry.
- Effective at interviewing high-profile leaders and extracting insights.
- Proven ability to distill complex topics into concise and easily understood concepts.
- Strong long-form writing skills.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to absorb new material quickly.
- Proven ability to manage projects and juggle a diverse workload.
- Ability to meet any and all deadlines.

**Plus skills**
- Experience working in a startup or agency environment.
- Past experience working in a content management system is helpful.
- SEO experience with topic selection, keywords, title tags, and meta descriptions.
- Understanding of Marketing is a bonus.
- Background in journalism is highly preferred.
