JOB SUMMARY
This role involves diagnosing and repairing customer equipment, responding to technical calls, performing demos, and providing customer training. Responsibilities include assembling and testing equipment, creating quotes, searching for parts, maintaining tidy workspaces, preparing for service calls, staying updated on training, and accompanying reps on visits. The role focuses on service delivery, cost efficiency, and innovation, with operations mainly in French, and requires collaboration with senior management and leadership teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Perform the diagnosis on various equipment according to the established order.
- Perform repairs on various customer equipment.
- Respond to technical phone calls.
- Perform demos at customers.
- Assemble, start and test the equipment sold before installation.
- Provide training in the use of equipment to customers.
- Build quotes for each diagnosed equipment, as needed.
- Search for parts using the manuals or on the manufacturers’ sites, as needed.
- Tidy the workspaces, workbench, and office daily.
- Make the preparation of the things necessary for the calls to be made the next day.
- Keep technical training on supported equipment up to date.
- Accompany the representatives during visits to our customers, as needed.

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS
- Diploma obtained in one of the following fields: electromechanical, electrical engineering or electronic.
- Read technical drawings.
- Experience in the field, considered.
- Autonomous person, comfortable working alone or in a team depending on the assignment of the project.
- Available to work outside normal business hours as needed.
- Able to learn equipment requiring a self-taught portion with the technical manuals available.
- Have modes of transportation to travel to customers for service calls.
- Bilingual, preferably French and English, spoken, written as well as good pronunciation.

- Primary language used in daily operations is French. Additional primary company languages include English, Spanish, and Dutch.

- Speak effectively, both individually and before groups of both external customers and/or various levels of employees within the organization.

SUPERVISION

Role does not involve management of employees.
