Located on the beautiful Toronto Islands, we are a 0+ slip marina, equipped with a fuel dock, restaurant and our own ferry service running from Queens Quay & York St. directly to the marina.

The duty manager is the senior office staff during the shift, who is responsible for overseeing marina operations. They will ensure Toronto Island Marina maintains an enjoyable, professional and safe environment for customers and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise a team of up to 10 summer staff
- Ensure completion of marina opening/closing procedures
- Cash-handling and reconciliation
- Manage visitor reservations, arrivals, and departures
- Ensure all summer staff adhere to Toronto Island Marina health and safety practices and procedures
- Clerical duties
- Ensuring high staff and customer morale

**Related and Other Duties**

Key holder, on-duty manager, fuel dock attendant, first mate, assist in efficient operation of front-of-house

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in a marine environment or working near water an asset
- Ontario Pleasure Craft Operator Card is an asset
- First Aid Certification required
- Strong customer service skills required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
