**Hours of Work**:
Part Time: Up to 40 hours per week, depending on staff availability and program requirements.

Shifts fall between 2:15-5:30pm with the opportunity for full-time employment in summer.

6 month probationary period for all new employees.

*Additional shifts (up to 35 hours/week total) may be available between 7:30am and 5:30pm.

**Brief Description**:
Join the James Bay Out of School Care team dedicated to providing a rich and dynamic program for children Kindergarten to Grade 5. We are looking for people who will bring energy, creative ideas, and a supportive demeanor to help children develop, grow and discover. We are part of a vibrant Community Centre seeking out collaborative people to fit in with our team.

**Wage starting at $18.52 per hour, depending on education and experience.**

**Qualifications**:

- Be FUN, EMPATHETIC, and most importantly, SILLY**

Must meet VIHA licensing qualifications:

- 20 hours of related education.
- Criminal record check.
- Valid first aid with CPR C.
- 2 Reference checks.

**James Bay Community School Centre Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children aged 5-11 years old
- A broad knowledge of the developmental stages and needs of children 5-11 years and an ability to plan activities based on these stages and needs
- Comfortable managing children in a variety of situations.
- Ability to work within and add to the community school setting

- Profit Community Centre and our goal is providing affordable and fun programs for the kids in our James Bay Neighborhood. We are looking for someone who is looking for a part-time job that will make them feel like they are making a difference
