This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Services and Assistant Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of all rooms and public spaces within the hotel.

**What we are looking for**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the housekeeping team's daily operations and tasks
- Coordinate and schedule cleaning duties for housekeeping team
- Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion
- Train and onboard new housekeeping team members, providing them with necessary guidance and support
- Inspect and evaluate the cleanliness and condition of guest rooms and public areas regularly
- Ensure that all housekeeping activities comply with hotel policies, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards
- Handle and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and requests related to housekeeping services
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Desk and Maintenance, to address guest needs and maintenance issues promptly
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs identified during housekeeping activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a hazard-free and sanitary work environment for the housekeeping team
- Uphold a positive work culture, fostering teamwork, motivation, and a strong work ethic among housekeeping staff
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Commitment to superior customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Supervise and train associates.
- Ability to practice and maintain consistent key standards.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- WHMIS certified.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work a range of hours including weekends.
