**Description of Duties**:

- Liaise with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department
- Conduct inspections to ensure and maintain a level of cleanliness throughout the hotel as set by the Housekeeping Standards
- Supervise the Housekeeping staff, ensuring standards are met.
- Ensure and maintain an exceptional level of guest service.
- Effectively address employee and guest concerns
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding and training of Housekeeping staff
- Assist with scheduling and payroll
- Complete monthly inventories
- Develop and maintain effective communication on all levels

**Qualifications & Abilities**:

- 5 years of recent Housekeeping experience in a full-service hotel, with at least 3 years of recent supervisory or management experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective coaching skills and a motivating attitude
- Self-starter who is comfortable working flexible hours (mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Knowledge of Opera an asset
- University or College degree in Hospitality Management an asset
