**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and planning nutritious diets tailored to individual needs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitor clients' health by observing changes in condition and reporting them to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members regarding client status.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, or similar caregiving environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
- Certification in caregiving or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $17.55-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
