Morden Asian Concept Fine Dining Restaurant Hiring CDC and Line Cook.
Our upscale Morden Asian concept fine dining restaurant is seeking a talented and experienced CDC (Chef de Cuisine) and Line Cook to join our culinary team.
This will be a brand new and exciting project. As a team member, you will have the opportunity to participate in restaurant design, selection of handcrafted dishes, selection of suppliers and inspections of origins, and a series of restaurant concept designs.
Our restaurant prides itself on delivering an exceptional dining experience that blends the flavors and techniques of various Asian cuisines with a modern twist. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about food, have a creative flair, and can work collaboratively with our team to create exceptional dishes.
**CDC Responsibilities**:
- Leading and overseeing the kitchen team in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Developing and updating menus to reflect the restaurant's concept and vision
- Ensuring consistency in food quality and service standards
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment Training and mentoring kitchen staff Collaborating with the executive chef to develop new dishes and menu items
**Line Cook Responsibilities**:
- Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and specifications
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station Assisting in the creation and development of new menu items
- Ensuring that all food preparation and cooking processes adhere to health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and service standards
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a CDC or Line Cook in an Asian fusion or fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create innovative and unique menu items that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Strong leadership and management skills for the CDC position
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling procedures
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
**Salary**: $15.65-$40.00 per hour
