We are a local Vancouver based company that specializes in top quality roofing installations in the residential market. Our clients are families and working professionals. It is therefore critical that a successful applicant has a professional attitude and demeanor.
We are completely in-house and are dedicated to helping our employees achieve professional growth on an ongoing basis.

**Duties**:
A successful applicant is expected to do the following:

- Follow all policies and instruction directed by either project/ construction manager or the owner of company.
- Be ready to work Monday to Saturday from 7am to 7pm.
- You must enforce and follow uniform and professional attire requirements set forth by us such as safe working procedures, proper PPE and proper use of equipment at all times while on-site and you are required to provide in-field training to all workers on crew. You must also follow all safety requirements yourself with no exceptions. You are also required to prepare and provide weekly tool box talks to crew.
- You are required to prepare and fill out site specific safety documentation such as fall protection plans and fill out any incident reports if an incident occurs. You are to document and notify the office of site specific safety issues that occur.
- You are required to oversee all site protection and job set-up.
- You are required to direct workers during installation to ensure jobs are met within the allocated budget and time line provided.
- You are responsible for the quality of workmanship and ensuring that we are met with each and every job. You are required to conduct inspections on all jobs at jobs end.
- You are required to track all workers hours onsite and you are to report daily to the office notifying them of everyone's start and finish times.
- You are responsible for ensuring jobs are loaded properly and safely and that at the end of day jobs are wrapped up as per our standards for clean-up and that sites are made water tight before leaving a site.
- You are also responsible for leading the crew by example We are looking for someone who is driven for success and who wants a career and wants to continuously develop their skill set and grow with us

**Requirements**:
A successful applicant is required to have over 5 years of full-time work experience, and comprehensive knowledge in the following areas:
1. In sloped roofing as an installer.
2. 2 years' experience as a lead hand on site or 1 year previous experience as a crew leader/ foreman (experience working as a foreman in another trade will be considered relevant as long as you can show knowledge in management practices)
a. Please also note that completion of post-secondary education will also be strongly considered as a valuable asset for this position but is not required.
3. Knowledge and proven experience in training workers.
4. Roof safety, site set-up and best installation practices.
5. Working on slopes ranging from 2/12 to 20/12 in pitch.

**Salary**: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
