**Stan Glassworks Ltd.** is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Lead Installer** to join our team. We specialize in the installation of custom glass, structural and miscellaneous metal components for both commercial and residential projects. This is a full-time position for a motivated individual with strong leadership qualities and technical installation skills.

As a **Lead Installer**, you will be responsible for managing the successful on-site installation of structural and miscellaneous metals such as guardrails, canopies, staircases, handrails, gates, and privacy screens. The role requires a high level of technical skill, safety awareness, and the ability to lead installation teams effectively. Tasks include bolting, screwing, drilling, sanding, cutting, and aligning materials with precision, while managing time, equipment, and team resources.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Rigging and hoisting materials and components
- Safe and proficient use of power tools (e.g., sanders, grinders, saws, drills)
- Leveling, aligning, and plumbing of structural elements
- Bolting, fitting, and adjusting various installations
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Providing crane signals during lifts and operations
- Managing project timelines, resources, and installation crews
- Ensuring quality, safety, and accuracy of installations on-site

**Working Conditions**
- Working at heights (ladders, scaffolds, lifts, etc.)
- Both indoor and outdoor environments
- Fast-paced, team-based work environment with tight deadlines

**Qualifications**
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Familiarity with crane operations and hand signaling
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Canada
- Valid Canadian work permit
- Proficiency with power tools and metalworking equipment
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices
- Physically able to work outdoors
- Excellent organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task

Pay: $25.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
