Agropur is looking for a Maintenance and Reliability Specialist to join is Truro team.

In collaboration with the management team, the Maintenance and Reliability Specialist is responsible for advancing the site's maturity in terms of maintenance and reliability. He focusses on improving equipment reliability through the analysis of failing equipment and site practices. He is responsible for assessing the quality, robustness and capacity of asset reliability processes. He reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding equipment reliability, availability and robustness. His main role is to participate in the evolution of the site's maturity in proactive maintenance.

**What’s involved in this role**:
More specifically, the Truro Maintenance and Reliability Specialist responsibilities will include:

- Leads and manages failure analysis for equipment problems in collaboration with team members, ensuring progression of the asset health management program and appropriate maintenance strategies.
- Implements PdM & CBM technologies for early failure detection on critical equipment, providing related training.
- Optimizes equipment maintenance plans by analyzing asset failure data and adjusting strategies accordingly, in partnership with PM Planners.
- Collaborates on MTBF and MTTR improvements for production equipment, facilitating cross-functional cooperation with Maintenance Engineers and other stakeholders.
- Supports TPM in equipment design, working with engineers to integrate reliability improvements.
- Identifies training needs for maintenance personnel and helps improve key skills as part of the development program.
- Collaborates with Continuous Improvement Triads (AOS) on reliability issues, providing clear insights into equipment problems.
- Supports inventory management, optimizing spare parts and ensuring operational support. Informs Parts Inventory Manager of necessary changes based on failure analysis and usage data.
- Assists in analyzing equipment reliability, including reviewing specifications for new purchases and evaluating proposed changes to existing systems.
- Recommends improvements to machine performance and reliability based on process and failure data analysis.
- Performs statistical analysis on machine failure data and work order codes to identify necessary adjustments to maintenance strategies.
- Provides technical assistance to maintenance supervisors, planners, and employees on system configuration and performance.

**What you need to join our team**:

- University or college degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in reliability, preferably in the food industry.
- Having worked in a unionized environment (an asset).
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional, CRL, MMP, AM or equivalent certification (an asset).
- Technical and practical knowledge of manufacturing production equipment. Dairy industry (an asset).
- Knowledge of best practices in maintenance reliability.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software, IT Guide (an asset).
