Our Litigation Department is currently looking for a full-time legal assistant, who is able to work in a fast-paced, extremely busy environment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a legal assistant, preferably in the area of Civil Litigation
- Some experience with Estate Litigation would be an asset
- Experience drafting litigation documents is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage priorities to ensure all deadlines are met
- Ability to multi-task, complete work with great accuracy, work independently, follow instructions with mínimal supervision, take initiative when required, and be efficient with time management
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, which are necessary to draft correspondence and legal documents
- Ability to schedule meetings and communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and other professionals.
