**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Litigation Support**:
- Assist with preparation and management of court documents in personal injury, corporate, and estate litigation.
- Support in drafting pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases.
- **Client & Case Management**:
- Communicate directly with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and managing expectations.
- Coordinate with experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Contribute to case strategy development, settlement negotiations, and trial preparations.
- **Small Claims & Landlord-Tenant Matters**:
- Manage small claims cases and landlord-tenant disputes, taking ownership of legal processes from initiation to resolution.
- **Insurance Defense**:
- Assist with insurance defense cases, including drafting responses, discovery requests, and motions.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in litigation, particularly in personal injury, corporate law, estate, and commercial matters.
- **Entrepreneurial Mindset**: Strong business acumen, with the ability to think creatively and take ownership of cases and tasks. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- **Detail-Oriented & Organized**: Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high levels of accuracy under pressure.
- **Client-Focused**: Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong client relationships.
- **Adaptability & Growth-Oriented**: Willingness to learn, grow, and potentially take on your own caseload in the future.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software (PCLaw, eCore experience a plus).
