We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Buyer to be responsible for selecting and purchasing quality products for our business.

Your responsibilities will include negotiating with suppliers, finding new suppliers as we explore new product lines categories and brands.

The buyer will work with staff across departments to forecast the needs of the business and make purchase decisions based on demand.

The Buyer should be analytically minded and possess excellent negotiating skills to secure the best prices according to budget. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is advantageous.

Buyer Responsibilities:

- Research, select and knowledge of products for our clients.
- Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
- Update inventory strategy and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
- Coordinate with inventory team, management, on the monthly product requirements
- Manage vendor delivery timelines and delivery issues

Buyer Requirements:

- Relevant experience in retail buying.
- Categories (Electronics, home appliances, other)
- Excellent computer skills (Excel).
- Understanding of gross margin and calculation of gross margin
- Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of English and French

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $37,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
