Buyer (Electronics Background)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join our team. As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain management by ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services needed for our operations. You will be responsible for negotiating with vendors, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing costs while maintaining quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure favorable pricing and terms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to plan and track material orders
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay updated on industry trends
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Familiarity with MRP systems and procurement software
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Solid understanding of vendor management and relationship building
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier performance and market trends
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
