Member Engagement Coordinator

**Summary**
Reporting to the Executive Officer, the Member Engagement Coordinator enhances the membership experience at the Niagara Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Acting as a key liaison between NAR Members and the NAR Team, this role focuses on effective communication, events planning, advocacy efforts, and fundraising. The Member Engagement Coordinator ensures the Association’s mission, messaging, and branding are consistent across all professional communications while fostering engagement among Members and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Communications**
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to raise awareness of Association-led projects and initiatives.
- Maintain the NAR website and monitor organized real estate messaging to keep Members informed.
- Build and maintain media relations to promote the Association and its advocacy efforts.
- Align communications with the Association’s strategic goals to highlight Member-focused initiatives and promote Niagara REALTORS®.
**Events Planning**
- Plan, organize, and execute Member-focused events such as the Annual General Meeting, Member Celebrations, Real Talks, Lunch and Learns, and REALTORS® Care fundraising initiatives.
- Coordinate with speakers, venues, and suppliers while managing event budgets and logistics.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote events, increase registration, and align with NAR branding.
- Complete post-event reports summarizing attendance, feedback, and recommendations for future events.
**Fundraising and Sponsorships**
- Develop and manage a corporate sponsorship portfolio, tailoring opportunities for engagement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with sponsors, ensuring proper recognition and updates on outcomes.
- Identify sponsorship opportunities to support event budgets and steward sponsor relationships.
- Develop and execute a Niagara REALTORS® Care Fundraising annual plan to support local, shelter-based organizations throughout Niagara.
**Advocacy and External Relations**
- Build and maintain relationships with NAR Members, PAC and NHAT Taskforce Members, community organizations, and key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary contact for external stakeholders related to the Association’s advocacy efforts.
- Support strategic initiatives by conducting research, analyzing data, and recommending future programs.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in events planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of Niagara’s real estate landscape, advocacy, and fundraising efforts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to travel and attend events as needed.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives on fostering connections, organizing impactful events, and delivering consistent, high-quality communications to support the Association’s mission and NAR’s members.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
