**Children's Autism Services of Edmonton** is seeking a part-time **Assessment Psychologist** for our dynamic and growing organization. Children’s Autism Services of Edmonton is a leader in autism diagnostic assessment. The assessment team is comprised of other psychologists, speech
- language pathologists, occupational therapists, and social workers who have extensive experience in autism and diagnostic assessment. Individuals and families that come for assessment are well-equipped for the next steps of their journey with follow-up and support to access different funding sources, medical follow-up, and recommendations for their education setting.

As an assessment psychologist working with our organization, you will be providing:

- Assessment as part of our multi-disciplinary Autism Diagnostic Team
- Cognitive, psychoeducational and social-emotional assessments
- Service primarily to children but some adult assessments may also be scheduled dependent on your comfort level and experience

To apply, you must have:

- Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists
- Training and experience with common diagnostic tools used in autism assessments such as the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale - 2ndEdition)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion and commitment for working with children and their families
- All hires must provide a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector, Child Welfare check and First Aid & Level-C CPR

Prior knowledge and experience with autism is considered an asset.
